Samantha "Sam" Goione, MA, LPCC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Pursuing counseling can often an uncomfortable experience. I have always believed that community and connection play an important role in not only getting through our trials but in life in general. After being diagnosed with anxiety and depression at a young age, and living through a number of traumatic events, I had a therapist who supported me and that I grew to really look up to. This is largely what inspired me to join the counseling field.
I believe in working in collaboration with my clients. This involves identifying and processing through their current struggles and working towards the life they want to live. I believe in supporting clients as they develop their own sense of self, strive to increase self-awareness and work through life's circumstances. It is my goal to create a safe environment to help support and facilitate this growth.
A little bit about me, I am originally from New Jersey but have lived in Colorado for the last decade. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time hiking, dirt biking, traveling, reading, with my family or my with my horse, Arrow.
I appreciate your taking the time to learn about me and I look forward to working with you and learning more about you.
