KAP Program Pricing

​Unfortunately, Ketamine is not usually covered by insurance as it has not yet been FDA approved for treatment in mental health. However, some insurances have started reimbursing clients who submit a superbill. We are hoping that with ongoing research and continued improvement in patients through the use of Ketamine, that insurance companies will start to authorize this treatment in the future.
 
Our prices are as follows:
Initial Psychiatric Consultation (60 min): $180
Follow-up Psychiatric Consultation (30 min): $80
 
KAP Session for mental health (per session~ 1.5 hours): 
$300- standard; $1,300.00 for a package of five infusions
$250- for active-duty military dependents, veterans and first responders; $1,100.00 for a package of five infusions

 
Mandatory Supportive Psychotherapy: May be covered by insurance. If you do not have an individual mental health clincian, please click here to view Barber Family Counseling’s current fee schedule. Sliding scale options also available. 
 
Unlike many other KAP programs, our price does include the medication required. 
 
Unfortunately, most insurances do not over KAP services, although some are allowing for “Superbill” reimbursement. We are happy to provide you will a Superbill, at any time, please just contact our billing department. Because our KAP program is solely private pay (requiring an out-of-pocket cost only), our prices are as competitive as possible while allowing us to provide excellent care. We also recognize that, despite our commitment to keep our pricing as low as possible, this process may be a financial stretch for many to afford. Rest assured that we will very carefully evaluate your response to treatment and recommend against further treatment sessions if the benefits are not apparent.
