I find therapy to be a means to easier breathing. It is difficult to always lean into the adversity we experience in life. Therapy can provide a pathway to finding ones eyes, voice, beliefs, goals, and truth. I believe that we are all in this life together, that we are all connected, and all possess different strengths to help one another. My passion has always been in helping, supporting, and guiding others to find the strength to see themselves cleanly, and with love.
My goal is to help others learn how to navigate themselves internally and to navigate the difficulties we all experience. Therapy does not equate to weakness, nor does it indicate that something is "wrong" with someone. Therapy provides a different perspective in helping each client to see and approach difficulties in a different fashion, one that promotes success. For me, therapy is an example of how a relationship should ensue. My practice is to be present with each client, treat them with respect, empathy, kindness, truth, openness, gentleness and with a desire to promote growth. I practice viewing all difficulties as life lessons, that if embraced, can help us to grow quicker and with less hardship. The more we practice loving ourselves and engaging in healthy living, the easier the navigation of adversity can be.
My past passions included working as a Special Education Teacher for 12 years, a Wellness and Transition Coach, within behavioral health and in healthcare. My life has recently been expanded by the love of my two beautiful children. I believe we are all different for a reason, we all teach and learn from one another. If we are to work together, I look forward to us growing together!
