Dr. Sherissa Sebastian, DNP, PMHNP-BC, APRN, RXN
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Soluna Mental Health, PLLC
As a healthcare provider, I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with a doctorate in nursing practice. I have experience working with people of all ages and am licensed to prescribe medications in the state of Colorado. I offer medication management and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
I offer a holistically-based approach to mental health. I believe that every person has a unique living experience and therefore deserve to be viewed as a 'whole', not in singular, as one would in viewing symptoms alone. My goal is to create a more inclusive picture of wellness by incorporating all parts of your life together including your environment and beliefs. I consider not only your mental health important, but your physical and emotional health as being vital components in maintaining overall wellness.
In the practice setting, I strive to create a safe, open, and compassionate environment for you to express your concerns so we can create a successful plan together. As your provider, I will be intentional in creating a kind and empowering space for patients of all ages, no matter how small or big the issue. I also pledge to be your compassionate accountability partner that will walk with you on a positive path to success. I pride myself on being genuine, direct and collaborative in my care. As a team, you and I will discuss and create attainable goals through sustainable actions.
A little about me - I grew up on the West Coast and have had the privilege to both live and travel to several places growing up. I have lived in Colorado for the past several years where I can enjoy the outdoors throughout the seasons. In my free time I enjoy exploring the mountains, spending time with my loved ones, being entertained by my cat or reading a new book with a good cup of tea.
I look forward to working with you to support you in reaching your goals!
