Andrea "Annie" Yockel, MA, LPCC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Life is filled with joy as well as pain. Sadly, one cannot exist without the other. I have long believed life’s more turbulent transitions shouldn’t be navigated alone. When we become overwhelmed, it can be difficult to reach out for help, and sometimes we turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms or thought patterns to survive. With the help of an understanding and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship we can develop healthier coping skills, heal, and return to ourselves. To walk alongside you as you rediscover your way is an honor I don’t take lightly. You can thrive again.
In my previous life I was a writer. My writing focused on motherhood, divorce, and grief. My experiences (both personal and professional) have led me toward what I believe is my true purpose, to help others. I have a specific interest in helping new mothers, those navigating divorce, infidelity, disability/illness, grief, and life’s many transitions.
In my free time I love to cuddle my kids, write, hike, travel, and go to museums.
