Tyra Little MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor & Site Supervisor
When was the last time someone truly listened to you without judgement of any kind? As resilient as we are as human beings, sometimes we just need some guidance in forging a path into the unknown. Many of us are busy taking care of those close to us, and we forget about ourselves. My role is to be the helping hand that guides you through your journey to becoming the best you that you can become.
Since the age of 14, I have known that my passion is to help people as others have helped me. I began my personal journey in therapy at the age of 5 (my mother has a degree in Psychology). I have continued to see counselors though adolescence and my adult life, having found that it helps me stay grounded. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy in some way or another.
A little about me personally, I have 3 sons and 3 dogs, so I live in a busy household. I have been with my awesome husband for 20 years. I have 20+ years working with teens and have been a School Counselor for 15 years. Prior to entering education, I worked as a foster care caseworker and in a residential treatment setting. I have had a variety of personal experiences in my life which allow me to be truly empathetic with many of life’s situations. Give me a call and let’s see if we are a good fit!
