When trauma occurs, our brains change. This can often result in feeling stressed but not being able to clearly identify why, sleep disturbances, emotional instability, teeth grinding, irritability, imparted concentration, feeling overwhelmed, nightmares, flashbacks, anxiety, and panic. Some other signs are much more subtle and may be easily masked in denial. And sometimes the signs of trauma are not always visible. Our trauma-informed therapists are capable of helping you identify your trauma, understand your feelings, begin to normalize them and help you regain balance and peace.
