Tanya Balduff MSW, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
Seeking counseling services can be intimidating. My goal is to reduce any discomfort by making it a priority to build rapport and creating a comfortable space for you to be able to benefit from services. I feel strongly about empowering clients to take the lead in their sessions, along with my guidance, ensuring a collaborative process. Sometimes that takes time and that is absolutely okay.
I thoroughly enjoy working with all age groups. A community that I hold near and dear to my heart would be the LGBTQIA+ community. The additional stressors that can arise from identity and acceptance can escalate struggles in one’s life and I work compassionately with that understanding. I also enjoy working with military members and their family. I grew up in the military community and married into it as well. Moving regularly or just living away from “home” can cause internal disruption for adults and children alike, and not living near family can also create it own set of unique difficulties.
On a personal note, I’m married with three furbabies—two large pups and a feisty black cat. My spouse and I like to hike and take in the beauty that is Colorado.
