Raquel Dominguez MSW, RP
Social Worker & Director of Marketing & Outreach
One of life’s greatest challenges is navigating through it without encountering any turbulence. As the captain of an airplane, they prepare a flight plan without the anticipation of turbulence, sudden weather changes, or any emergencies that may arise. However, the journey tends to be complex and unpredictable. You begin to feel stretched thin, pulled in different directions which can make you feel physically and emotionally drained. Time management seems impossible, and you have not time or energy to focus on yourself. I understand the importance of balancing school, career, relationships, and personal growth of life changes. My approach to therapy involves evidence-based interventions to create a fulfilling life in line with your cultural values.
A little about me personally, I am from New Orleans, Tulane Alumni, and I enjoy triathlons. I am married and have two amazing boys. After Hurricane Katrina, I moved to Texas to start over. I met my husband and made Texas home for 12 years. Due to his job, we relocated to Colorado Springs in 2018.
I am a bilingual social worker (English/Spanish) who specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, multicultural issues, women’s emotional health, adjustment issues, and personality disorders. I love working with adults, children, and adolescents. Wellness is a collaborative process and I am here to guide you through it. My passion is to help you identify your strengths to attain an enhanced quality of life and well-being.
