Megelyn Shumway, BS
Master in Counseling Intern
One of life’s greatest joys is peaceful relationships, especially within families. Sometimes, achieving this can be challenging and painful, and well worth the effort. As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I support clients as they engage in the process of strengthening connections through healing, setting and firming up boundaries, mindfulness, and the effective use of language.
I have been married to my husband for 32 years, and we have five grown children. I love using what I am learning professionally to strengthen my relationship with myself and with others. I enjoy cycling the hills of our beautiful city, knitting, playing games with our children, doing puzzles, and watching detective dramas. I also do volunteer work for our church congregation.
