Do you ever feel like you are on ‘autopilot’ or just ‘going through the motions’ in your day-to-day life? Maybe you fill your schedule so full that you barely have any time in the day to be still... so that you do not have time to feel or process heavy experiences you have been holding on to? Perhaps you have started to notice that your relationships with those around you are becoming harder and harder to maintain and you are unsure how to get out of this cycle. Let me tell you, this life was not meant to live on auto pilot and you are meant for so much more!
Deciding to be intentional and regain the life that you were truly meant to live takes vulnerability (yuck who wants to be vulnerable right?!) As a therapist I know how scary it can be to be vulnerable, and creating a safe place for you to be in vulnerable is my number one priority. Therapy is a beautiful process, often even when it is uncomfortable, BUT when we are uncomfortable in the therapy room, we uncover areas of growth and areas that need healing. I believe the healing process is one that we are not meant to go through alone, and friend I would be honored to walk this journey with you!
A little about me personally I am blessed to be the mother to three beautiful boys. I am a mother of a child with a chronic illness so helping individuals, couples, and families who have a child(ren) with unique and wonderful superpowers (as we call it in our home) is one of my many passions in this field. I have been married to my wonderful high school sweetheart for the last eight years, we are an Active-Duty Space Force Family stationed in Colorado Springs, Semper Supra! When my family and I are not at church helping with the youth ministry, we are spending time together taking care of our awesome bunny named Bugs, our goats and our horses.
Going to marriage counseling 4 years ago when my husband and I had hit rock bottom and seeing how it helped us to communicate effectively and change our perspectives on “how to fight better” and each other motivated me! Not only did I see a change in my marriage, but my children were more connected to us, and I was also able to maintain friendships and work relationships in a renewed way. After this I became even more motivated in my passion to help individuals, couples and families experience that same transformation! Let me help you transform and not conform to what the world tells us our relationships need to look like but how they were meant to be for each unique system!
