Kirsten Hughes MSW, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
Growing up is one of the most difficult challenges your child will face,
especially in a digital and fast-paced world. I would like to journey alongside you and
your child to help your child in being more resilient and accepting of life and its many
challenges. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their
families. I specialize in helping families communicate with each other.
I use psycho-education, empathetic and client-centered talk-therapy,
strength-based, SFBT, play and art therapy modalities. Since therapy is not a,
“One Size Fits All” service, I believe in the collaborative approach. I empower my
clients to help create treatment plans and obtainable goals to assure each
person receives personalized and focused treatment.
My core belief is that there are no "bad" or "broken" children, just children who are lost
and need support in finding their correct life path. I am someone who can help guide them to
that path and teach them to overcome the obstacles that block their way. I enjoy helping
children, and their families, navigate the process of growing up and realizing their full potential. I look forward to working with you!
