Daryk Scott BA
Master in Counseling Intern
We exist in a world that deeply challenges us while at the same time is the stage of our learning, healing, and thriving. The journey is not without trouble, and my goal is to be with you in those moments while you move through them. Sometimes the challenge is softened by insight, sometimes by skills, and sometimes by simply having a place to tell your story without judgment. In those moments, my role is to walk alongside you as we have space for you to heal into a more authentic way of being. I am grateful to work with adolescents, adults, and families faced with interpersonal troubles, life transitions, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I come to you as an intern at Barber Family Counseling & Wellness, and I am working towards my master’s in counseling with the expected graduation in 2021. My major passions are counseling those who seek a better life for themselves, diving into a good philosophical book/puzzle, and spending time with my wife and family. Thank you for taking the next step on your journey, and I look forward to meeting you.
Works with: Individuals 5+, Couples & Families
Specializes in: Existential Issues, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Grief & Loss, Multicultural Issues, Addiction, Adjustment Disorders and Suicidal Ideation
