We exist in a world that deeply challenges us, yet it is also the place of our learning, healing, and thriving. The journey is not without trouble, and my goal is to be with you in those moments while you move through them. Sometimes the challenge is softened by insight, sometimes by skills, and sometimes by simply having a place to tell your story without judgment. In those moments, my role is to walk alongside you towards a more authentic way of being. I am grateful to work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families faced with interpersonal troubles, life transitions, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Services at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in May of 2021; I am a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC); and I have formal training in philosophy at the undergraduate and graduate level. I transitioned from graduate work in philosophy to completing my master's degree in counseling because I believe the most fundamental question asked to any of us is “how ought I to live,” and I seek to use both disciplines in that journey. Within a nonjudgmental atmosphere, I hope to walk alongside you as you work towards that answer for yourself, and I come to you now as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with Barber Family Counseling & Wellness.

When not devoting to my passion for counseling, I spend my time diving into a good philosophical book or puzzle, integrating the skills and processes I offer into my own life, developing new competencies, studying history and theology, writing, experiencing the outdoors, spending time with my wife and family, and being a general handyman. Thank you for taking the next step on your journey, and I look forward to meeting you.
