Amber Crisp, BS
Master in Counseling Intern
It is incredibly difficult to reach out for support in the midst of emotional stress, pain, and suffering. I believe that everyone has the potential to benefit from counseling and although therapy can be a difficult process, with the right connection it can be transformative. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that meets you where you are and a safe space that creates the possibility for healing, personal growth, and progress to take place.
As a former teacher, I have experience working with all ages. Everyone, including myself, has a story and has had to work through challenging circumstances. My personal and professional life experiences have led me to an internship at the Barber Family Counseling & Wellness Group and I am excited to embark on my career change. In my spare time I like to hike with my rescue dog Fern, do yoga, travel, and spend time with my family and friends.
